Reason for hiring:
We have been partially outsourcing the accounting department until now. Particularly due to weaknesses in taxation, we are hiring to strengthen our internal capabilities.
Description:
Daily supervision of accounting operations involving Quickbooks management, AR, AP, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliation, Month-end tasks, and Government Compliance (e.g. BIR, SEC, etc.)
Implementation of support of training programs, effective administration of performance evaluation, mentorship, disciplinary action, and coaching activities for subordinates to improve their knowledge, skills, and total team performance.
Conformance with the established sets of reports and documented deliverables.
Suggestion or implementation of business process initiatives, and system improvement resulted in significant process efficiency and cost savings; participation in tasks beyond responsibility duly ordered by the immediate head.
Requirements:
Prefer Male candidate
Strong background on overall accounting processes (journal entries, AR, AP), banking, BIR, and SEC transactions
Adept on preparing financial statement forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis per cost center
Has working experience in conceptualizing and developing accounting procedures, policies, and manuals
Knowledgeable in using spreadsheets and Quickbooks
Has working experience and knowledge of taxation procedures
A CPA license is a non-negotiable requirement.
Must have at least five (5) years of related work experience
At least 25+ years old
Work schedule: 9:00 - 6:00 Mon to Fri
